Peru
(February - April 1998)
Note: during my round-the-world trip
I did not have a single lense reflex camera yet.
I only had a very simple point-and-shoot camera without zoom options.
The route
Three months in Peru, one of which working
as English teachers in Puno.
Floating reed islands of the Uros people in Lake Titicaca (+3800m). The reed
rots away from the bottom and is
replenished from the top. It feels like walking on a waterbed!
A drawing bought (under light force) from a kid inhabitant of the floating islands
of the Uros people.
On the island of Taquile in Lake Titicaca.
